Marshall Leasing Shows Its Support for Local Youth Theatre Group Spotlight Productions

Cambridgeshire-based vehicle management and finance company Marshall Leasing is donating £750 to local youth theatre group Spotlight Productions after the non-profit suffered from a break in this September. With over £2,500 worth of equipment stolen and a Christmas production due to go on in under a month, the group is in need of funds to replenish its supplies and Marshall Leasing has been on hand to help out.
Spotlight Productions was set up eight years ago by Graham and Sarah Wilkinson. Since then it has grown to a team of more than 50 leaders and volunteers who have helped over 1,000 talented young people to gain experience on the stage.
“One of the greatest gifts we’re able to give these young people is confidence,” says Graham. “Performing a show in front of a large audience is a character building experience. It requires self-belief, self-discipline and team work. These are all valuable skills that young people can take with them through their lives. Our whole team is extremely passionate. Like so many non-profits, however, we have very tight budgets to work with and the recent break in has made things even more difficult. We’re so grateful to Marshall Leasing for supporting us with their donation.”
