Five Of The Best Company Cars On The Market

Five Of The Best Company Cars On The Market

The process of choosing a company car is a lot different from that of picking a private car.

Company car tax is of course high—if not top—of the agenda, but there’s also a whole range of other factors to take into account such as connectivity, practicality for working, company image, and long distance comfort.

Many of these things can be figured out on a test drive, so to help you whittle down the list of which cars to take out for a spin, we’ve rounded up five company cars which we believe are worth serious consideration.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Many believe the C-Class to be the number one choice of a company car, and it’s easy to see why. First of all, the C-Class range emits low CO2 emissions—with the lowest and therefore the one with the cheapest tax bill being the C200 Bluetec.

Secondly, when compared to its competitors in the compact executive class, the Mercedes trumps them all with greater comfort and a more upmarket interior. It’s also practical and well equipped—making it an all-round superb company car.

Volkswagen Golf

The Golf from Volkswagen has long been a popular choice of company car, with a range to suit every need. And if you’re looking for the perfect balance of performance and fuel economy, there’s one model in particular that stands out above the crowd: The Golf 1.6 TDI 110 Bluemotion

Emitting just 89g/km (which makes it cleaner than a Prius), the Golf Bluemotion manages to not loose any of what people love about the Golf, with great handling, and an engine that gives a real punch.

Audi A3

Formar What Car? of the year, the Audi A3 is everything you’d expect from the German manufacturer—high quality and expert design.

If you’re leasing a company car, there’s no better option than the 1.6 TDI 110 Ultra SE, which like the Bluemotion Golf, emits just 89g/km of CO2 and offers powerful performance, along with everything you need for a quiet and comfortable ride.

BMW 3 Series

One of the most popular cars on the list, the BMW 3 series continues to be a leader in its class thanks to being able to offer all the luxuries of a compact executive, coupled with a low cost fuel bill.

All cars in the series are well equipped and relatively cheap to run, but the 320d Efficient Dynamics model comes out on top due to its lower emissions of109g/km of CO2.

Ford Focus

It may not stand up against the rest in terms of aesthetics and luxury, but the Focus’s great drivability and impressive in-car technology means it can compete with big guns on value.

The 1.6 TDCi 115 Zetec model is one of the more popular choices for those looking to lease a company car. It comes with alloy wheels, DAB, and Bluetooth connectivity for taking calls on the go, as well as a low emission rate of 109g/km.
