Special webinar about the AFP's recently launched Dealer Standard

Marshall Leasing Sales Director and Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) board member Richard Bairdwill be featured in a special webinar about the AFP's recently launched Dealer Standard.

The AFP Dealer Standard is a 28-point accreditation which has been created to give fleets the confidence that drivers will receive a comprehensive and safe handover of new vehicles, particularly if they are taking delivery of their first electric vehicle.

The webinar will be held on Wednesday 20th April at 9:30AM and will cover why and how the Standard was created, its aims, what it includes, the benefits to all parties involved, monitoring and feedback processes.

The AFP has confirmed that it has already received positive feedback, with some major leasing fleets planning to work in the future only with dealers who commit to the Standard. It hopes that this will help to accelerate its adoption across the industry. 

Richard Baird said, “The new Standard is crucial to ensuring that drivers are familiarised with increasingly complex safety, infotainment and other vehicle systems on handover, particularly for those adopting their first electric vehicle.

“I am delighted to be speaking at the webinar, in which myself and fellow board members will discuss the issues that inspired the Standard and how fleet operators, service providers and dealers can get involved.”
