UK government to extend fuel duty freeze and maintain 5p cut for the next 12 months

It was announced in the recent Spring Budget that the UK government will extend the 5p cut in fuel duty for another year.
The fuel duty freeze means it will be maintained at 52.95 pence per litre (PPL) until May 2024.
This is excellent news for fleet managers who are already grappling with high fuel prices.
