In the midst of a cost-of-living crisis which is deeply affecting businesses and with tax and interest rates continuing to rise, controlling costs is a headache shared by all those responsible for fleets.

Contract hire is a popular solution amongst those responsible for fleets, because it improves cash flow and budgeting through fixed monthly rentals, as well as enabling fleet managers to outsource many administration tasks and removing financial risk.
Here are some of the most important questions you should be asking your leasing provider:
What if a vehicle goes under or over the agreed mileage?
We are dedicated to saving our customers money wherever possible, and this is most clearly exhibited through our mileage management service. In addition to traditional mileage pooling during the end of contract process, we conduct regular mileage reviews throughout the duration of our contracts to make mileage adjustments if cost savings can be achieved for the client.
What about fines management?
Unlike many other leasing companies, we at Marshall Leasing believe in full disclosure and transparency. Where other providers charge additional administration fees for fines management, we simply do not.
What happens at the end of the contract?
Marshall Leasing is renowned for the considerate way in which we deal with End of Contract charges.
We start with a BVRLA graded assessment of a vehicle’s condition at the end of its contract to accurately document everything from a kerbed wheel to major panel damage. What sets us apart from our competitors is that we go through this report with a fine-toothed comb to determine the true impact these issues will have on the resale price of that vehicle. If there is little or no impact, any rectification costs will not be passed on to our customer.
Essentially, we won’t try to make money out of relatively minor mishaps.
