AFP highlight top 20 local authorities in need of kerbside charging

Using data from its newly created Kerbside Charging Map, the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) has highlighted the top twenty local authorities with the highest need for kerbside charging in order for company van drivers to adopt electric vehicles. The new AFP Kerbside Charging map for electric vans is here!

The Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) recently unveiled a national map which shows where there is need for kerbside charging for vans throughout the UK at its first annual conference. The Association formed a ‘Kerbside Charging Group’ in November 2021 and promised to use fleet data from its members to create a ‘centralised portal’, showing where kerbside charging is most needed. The AFP calls for data from fleet operators to assist in creating a kerbside charging map

The Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) has issued a call for data to fleet professionals to assist in the creation of a national map showing street-by-street demand for electric vehicle kerbside charging. The AFP has created a new Dealer Standard

The Association of Fleet Professionals (APF) has introduced a new guide: The AFP Dealer Standard, which it hopes will be voluntarily adopted industrywide by dealers and fleets as a benchmark for vehicle delivery. AFP urges eLCV fleets to monitor cost this winter

The Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) has urged fleets who are running electric light commercial vehicles (eLCVs) through their first winter of operation to closely monitor costs. AFP chair Paul Hollick says that a lack of charging infrastructure is hindering EV adoption

The Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) says that the lack of a national strategy for kerbside charging infrastructure in the UK is the biggest barrier to electric vehicle (EV) adoption by businesses. Currently, 75% of the cost of kerbside charging installation, which costs around £2,500 per unit, is met by a national fund paid and the remaining 25% is covered by local authorities.
